Sangiovese is primarily made of the single clone Sangiovese di Lamole variety with small amounts of Canaiolo and Ciliegiolo grapes. It is a balanced wine, with a vibrant color and fragrances of cherry and plums. The color and flavor resemble more robust wines and can be paired with most foods, including pasta with red sauce, meat and aged cheese.
