Such an amazing discovery! The quality of the food is stellar; their desserts are to die for! They are SUPER accommodating with any type of special request (ex: asking for a dish to be prepared without meat) and always willing to guide you toward the best choices for the event you're hosting. Not to mention their cooking classes which is a lovely birthday/Christmas/whatever-occasion present to give to someone curious about Syrian cuisine. And the cherry on top: the humanity behind the project. The owner, Shaza, literally changed the lives of this wonderful group of people from Syria.

I highly recommend Hummustown for its great food and people. The people from Hummustown get the quality ingredients from Syria as much as possible. They work every day from really early in the morning in the San Giovanni kitchen (where you can also take cooking classes) to deliver the orders they get from all over Rome. And the food is amazing: the hummus and shamandar are my personal favorites.
I am really happy Hummustown is still able to reach us in these trying times. Andra tutto bene everybody.
